Lose Weight with Fast Food – The Early Show



(CBS) Think all fast food is unhealthy?

Think again.

Frances Largeman-Roth, senior food and nutrition editor of Health magazine, pointed out on “The Early Show” Wednesday that there are healthy fast food choices people can enjoy — and even lose weight with!

Health magazine created a 1,350 calorie-a-day, mix-and-match weight loss plan using healthy choices you can pick up at the drive-through (and a few you can zap in the microwave at home). Choose one item from each list each day, and enjoy it with water, seltzer, or another super-light drink, such as black coffee, and you won’t have to count a single calorie!

Breakfast (About 300 calories)
Starbucks Spinach, Roasted Tomato, Feta, and Egg Wrap
“A hearty, savory start to the day. It’s also high protein and less than 300 calories.”

Dunkin’ Donuts: Half a multigrain bagel with plain reduced-fat cream cheese
