I used to drink a Coke every day at work. I had many arguments with my wife about this, and she insisted that sugary, carbonated drinks like Coke can ruin my health. She even refuses to buy or serve them to our kids.
Everything was just fine, until I started experiencing acid reflux symptoms. I was suffering from that burning sensation that kept me awake the whole night. This was one clue, and my visit to the dentist was another. He offered me a discount for dental work, so I will only pay several thousand dollars for his service. Can you imagine that? Only several thousand?
This motivated me to quit my habit of drinking soda daily at work, since carbonated drinks promote both acid reflux and tooth decay.
Now, do you need to know how to lose fifteen pounds? Here they are. Two months have passed, and I find myself fifteen pounds lighter. But I never thought that changing this bad habit would yield such shining results; I simply traded my daily soda with a cup of green tea.
After connecting these two incidents (replacing soda with tea and weight loss), I started to read more about this to learn of any scientific explanation for it, and I did.
I found many papers that correlate drinking sodas with weight gain. Over 50,000 women were monitored in a study at Harvard University. Those who regularly drank sodas had a larger body mass index than those who drank few or none.
Drinking soda is merely a form of excessive calorie intake, and it is very harmful. It actually contains empty calories, such as high fructose corn syrup, which very different from other sweeteners. Many sweeteners trigger your bodys insulin production it to compensate for extra sugar in blood, but sodas do not.
In addition, green tea plays a critical role in activating the weight loss process, as it aids the burning process of calories. This fact was verified in a study done at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
From all this data I can tell you that soda is a bad guy, and you should stay away from it. In addition to what I mentioned before, sodas work to increase fat in the blood, thereby increasing your risk of diabetes. In other words, recent studies indicate clearly that a daily sugared beverage, such as, milk shakes, coffee drinks, or sodas will double your risk of developing type-2 diabetes.
Now you know how to lose fifteen pounds quickly and smoothly, without any diets or exhausting exercises. Simply drink green tea and renounce the sodas.
