LA Weightloss was a great program. Met some pretty nice people there too. Support was great, but, like, so many of you……one day the place was closed and that was that! You can purchase any of the LA products on-line @ LA to your door. The prices are a bit high. It is still a good scam as well as a god program to ose weight. BUT!!!!!!!!!!! If you really want a lifetime change and a good healthy way to lose your weight…join Weight Watchers program. It is not money grabbing scam. It teaches you the right way to eat…portions, healthy 9 foods a day, etc. LA was just a good take off on WW and pushed you into the supplements and the snack bars. There is no juicing it every 14 days with WW. There is no need for that if you learn how to eat correctly and to portion your foods. Go for it friends. It is a great way to live. I have lost over 50 pounds and have kept it off for several years now. posted Apr 20th, 2010 10:21 am
I liked the plan, but I didn’t like the staff at the particular location. posted Apr 9th, 2010 10:38 am
Same story – one day I went to the store & they were closed. No notification or anything. I was only on the program for 6 wks. & now what? No refund?!! If anyone has the little cards they give you to let you know the ounces & portion sizes eg. grapes 10 per serving or ground turkey 6 ozs. please let me know I lost mine & at least want to try on my own. I am not paying for them again. Help!! posted Mar 23rd, 2010 1:26 pm

I joined LA Weight Loss 6 years ago and have managed to keep the weight off. I lost 30 pounds in 4 months along with cleasing. I have only gained 5 pounds out of the 6 years. You have to be discipline in order to loss the weight. If you don’t you will go back to your old eating habits. I think the program was expensive, but if you want something bad you will do what it takes. “Spending the money was worth it.” I just found the other website and will continue with the protein bars. posted Jan 9th, 2010 8:33 pm
You can do the LA Weightloss program without the LA Lites. I joined LA Weightloss in 2005 and told them the only way I would join is without the bars. They added 1 protien and 1 starch to my meal plan to compensate. I lost on average 3 pounds a week. I lost 60 pounds in about 22 weeks. it is a great way to lose weight but this is a VERY expensive plan. It cost me about $400 to join and startup. posted Jan 3rd, 2010 9:02 am
I went to LA on a whim in 2002. I lost about 25-30 pounds in about 4 months. I was very faithful. It taught me to eat right and exercise. For 4 years, I kept my weight off and even lost a little more. I only gained some back after two pregnancies. Sure wish they were still around. They are expensive!!! But, if you hold firm to not buying the supplements, it’s not so bad. The HOLLYWOOD DIET juice found at Walgreens and Walmart is very similar to the Take Off juice. The LATOYOURDOOR (where you can buy the lites) is a good option. Seems like they are more expensive than I remember, though. posted Dec 31st, 2009 9:34 pm

I cannot go back to the dark side. posted Nov 23rd, 2009 5:57 pm

I think it is eat only green vegetables, and as much of those and clean proteins as you can, i.e., turkey breast, chicken breast, egg whites, etc. posted Oct 17th, 2009 9:52 am
