How do I get motivated to lose weight?



Ok first of all doing ab routines won’t make you lose weight. It only tones the muscles under the fat, but the fat is still there. You need to do cardio to lose weight (swimming, running, biking). And you need to do the cardio hard, anything to get the heart rate faster because that’s when you lose weight, when you are in that zone. Try doing intervals like 30 seconds hard 30 seconds slow of any cardio activity.

In regards to diet cut out ALL refined sugar and limit your fat and grease. Eat as much fruits and vegetables as you want and limit your red meat. Water is good NO SODA and limited juice (it has as much sugar as pop). DO NOT starve yourself. Have snacks but healthy ones, like yogurt or fruit. If you starve yourself all it does is shrink your stomach and slow down your metabolism, so when you actually do eat a full meal your body takes longer to process it and you gain more weight than if you didn’t starve yourself.

In regards to your motivation, it’s as simple as this: How bad do you want it? You might tell yourself you want it, but if it’s not happening for you that says to me you want it but don’t want to do the work for it, which means you don’t want it bad enough. Bottom line, if you truly sincerely want it, then you will control what you eat and you will do cardio, you will do it no ifs ands or buts.
